Picadillo, Ground Beef Soup

ground beef (preferably round) |

ground pork |

or salt and freshly ground pepper to taste |

DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan, sauté garlic in oil until brown. Add shallots
and tomatoes and cook till soft. Add ground beef, pork, patis or
salt and pepper to taste. Add water and potatoes. Simmer until
done. Serve hot. |
